Spruce City News
Spruce City came to existence!! We, the Sprucides, embarked on our “year long” journey here at Girls State. We became a family as we had our first dorm meeting at two in the afternoon. During our meeting we decorated our “Spruce Sign”, first team project. Opening Assembly was a blast along with our roll call, “Spruce On It!” We then caught up with each other at our city room and banded together just a little bit more. Diner came right after and our city meeting next. We confidently gave awesome speeches and ran for our offices and appointed positions. We definitely knitted into one family. All showered and still ready to party, we gathered at our late night dorm meeting and started our week projects. We are the Sprucides from Spruce city.
