Day two: Girls State is a wonderful journey to meet new people, learn about government and experience life as an individual and a citizen of a city. One girl had said on the first day “ I really like my roommate, I think we will get along good and I guess that’s the point of Girls State, to meet new people!” We have had many adventures so far, from leaning songs to palying ice breaker games. Girls State is the perfect opportunity to branch out and find their true identity. “The relationships I make at Girls State may last a life time, I am very thankful for this week” many have said.
