Greeting from the 2010 Girls State Governor and JC for Pine City 2011
Hello, and welcome to New Mexico Girls State 2011! My name is Kyra Ellis-Moore and I am the Governor of Girls State 2010. This year I am serving as a Junior Counselor and I am so excited to be back at Girls State. This is going to be a week full of political exploration and learning, and the making of new friends and testing of old limits. Last year’s program gave me the push I needed to explore my passion for leadership and service last year and even now as I prepare to study in college this fall- most likely to major in political science. I hope and trust that this week proves to be just as rewarding for all of this week proves to be just as rewarding for all of this year’s delegates as it was for me! Welcome and have a wonderful, unforgettable week.
